Considering it was her T-Mobile Sidekick PDA that was
hacked amidst a massive scandal last year, it’s ironic to
read that Paris Hilton, the er, blonde socialite, has been
accused of voicemail hacking.

There was a dreadful time in history when the telecom
regime (local phone companies) held consumers captive by charging
high prices for phone service. To make matters worse, this
regime would nickel and dime consumers to death for additional
features like voicemail, call waiting, caller ID, and call
forwarding.

Found a link to Pinger from Techcrunch. I signed up and
its pretty cool. Once you sign up, you give them your cell
phone number and they intern give you a local number you can
call so that you can send Voicemails to people in your Contacts.
The people in your contacts can either be other Pingers or
just people with Email.

Paris Hilton Caught Hacking!
Hilton was one of more than 50 customers whose accounts
were suspended because they had been using SpoofCard.com's
Caller ID spoofing service to hack into voicemail accounts,
according to Mark Del Bianco, SpoofCard.com's attorney.

a strange coincidence SpoofCard also mentioned that Lindsay
“Firecrotch” Lohan’s account was one of the accounts

hacked into the voicemail of rival Lindsey Lohan. Celebrity
feuds are just as common as changing your socks. First the
parties are BFF ( Best Friends Forever) but then they turn

to obtain unauthorized access to voicemail accounts. SpoofCard.com
